The Great Danger to the Patagonia

Hi everyone, today I talk about a problem in the south of Chile. On Monday 27^th, May of 2014, the Newspaper La Tercera published an article about the invasion the beaver at Patagonia, in south of Argentina and Chile. This problem begins in the year 1946, a farmer imported twenty five couples, but with the change to condition and not have a natural predator, those had an increase number. With this condition, the beavers invade the Patagonia, first in Argentina and next Chile. The problem with beavers is the deterioration the forest of Ñirre and Coihue. But the trouble not finished, in the last publication, the beaver advance to Region of Biobio, and a lot of forest areas have a great dangerous. The Government has a political about this problem, and open the hunting season, with guns and trap, but other an animals fall, like a wildcat, but the “Puma Chileno” help hunting beaver. Now, the challenge to forestry is stop the advance the beaver, and reduce the deterioration of Coihue and Ñirre, be care with the forest of south of Chile.
